Prayer to Sekhmet 

Hail mighty Sekhmet, who's breath created the desert,

You heal the sick and you bring down your enemies.

Let your presence fill me with comfort,

Let my tears be an offering, you who have guided me.

Let no enemy harm me, smite them with your mighty power.

Let me walk proud in your shadow, let me be fearless like you.

Let your power heal me of all illness, heal my heart, and heal my soul.

Mighty Sekhmet, who watches over all.

Let this world turn away from what it has done, the violence that it has caused.

I, who is your child, who watches the pain.

I hear your roar, I feel your anger, I hear your tears.

Let me come to your temple and seek your protection.

Mighty Sekhmet who sees all and who protects her children.
